An RV mattress does not have to be thin and uncomfortable. Many mattress manufacturers are making versions of their most popular models especially for RVs. One of these companies is Select Comfort, maker of the Sleep Number bed, which allows users to adjust the firmness of the mattress with a simple push of a button.

When it comes to sheets, remember that RV mattresses are sized differently than regular mattresses, so a queen-sized RV bed may be slightly shorter than the queen you sleep on in your brick-and-mortar house. Special RV sheets ensure a tight fit and are available in many different varieties from percale to 660-count Egyptian cotton.
A wide variety of blankets, mattress covers and bed spreads are also available in many different styles for RVs. They can be purchased through your RV dealer or online.
