Weird RVs features RV that doubles as a boat

RVers who also love sailing should look no further! A Chinese designer has created the perfect vehicle for land and sea lovers alike: a recreational vehicle that also serves as a boat.

Chinese industrial designer Weili Fend designed the eco-friendly Harmony RV. The concept vehicle is powered by a hydrogen battery with four in-wheel motors plus a solar panel that can be used as a sail and solar energy harvesting system, according to RV Travel's Weird RVs feature.

The compact RV sleeps four people and includes amenities many RV enthusiasts have come to expect like leisure areas, a bathroom, a kitchen and an entertainment system.

The amphibious vehicle uses a jet drive for power when on the water, and the back opens up to serve as a boat deck perfect for fishing, swimming from or lounging with friends.

There's no word on how much the Harmony costs and there are no immediate plans to make them available to the public. It's simply a concept vehicle.

This ultra-modern RV may give a glimpse of what the motorhomes of the future may be capable of, however.ADNFCR-2712-ID-19596425-ADNFCR
