First of all, these avid RVers suggest avoiding an allegiance to a certain fuel brand. Gas is gas and diesel is diesel, and unless you have noticed that your RV runs poorly on a certain brand, you should go by price when looking for fuel.
When deciding what octane you should use, consult your RV owner's manual. There is no need to spend the extra money on the "plus," "premium" or "super" gas unless your vehicle needs it to run efficiently.
Customer loyalty programs through travel centers and large grocery chains may offer savings of a few cents per gallon as well. The DeMarises say RVers may want to consider if the small savings are enough to keep them returning.
