Racetrack adds new RV campground
Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) has created a new RV campground to keep up with demand for the track's popular Labor Day NASCAR weekend.
The Legends Premium campground is nestled along Atlanta Motor Speedway's Perimeter Road near the Speedway's main entrance. In addition to frontstretch grandstand proximity, the north end of the Legends Premium campground sits directly across from the Speedway's display lot that plays host to concerts, fan activities and driver appearances on race weekend.
Sites are 45-feet long by 25-feet wide and do not include RV hook ups. Each Legends Premium space costs $250 for the Labor Day NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race weekend.
Other RV camping areas include Trackside Terrace, Turn One Trackside Camping, Club One Camping, Premiere Camping and Family Reserved RV Camping among others. All camping areas are located near AMS bus and tram stops to offer fans easy access to the speedway grandstands.
All camping areas at AMS have quiet time regulations from midnight to 7 a.m. However, camping areas specified for families require quiet starting at 10 p.m.
Individuals interested in reserving a campsite for the 2010 NASCAR races at AMS should call (770) 946-4211.
