Contents needed for RV time capsule
The Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) has announced it will dedicate an RV time capsule as part of its centennial celebration.
The time capsule will provide a snapshot of the RV industry in 2010. It will remain on display at the Recreational Vehicle and Motorhome Hall of Fame and Museum for years to come, with the suggestion that it remain unopened for 25 years.
The RVIA is inviting people and companies to contribute items to this historic time capsule.
"You may send mini-models of your company's products, bumper stickers, buttons, keychains, photographs, or any other items that are representative of your organization," said Gary LaBella, RVIA vice president and chief marketing officer. "Let me stress that due to size limitations it is important to send smaller items for this fun activity. Larger items cannot be included. Many of you are already participating in some way in celebrations of the RV industry's 100th year, and we hope that you will also take advantage of this once-in-a-century opportunity to commemorate the RV industry's proud past and bright future by providing items for the time capsule"
Items for the time capsule must be received by the RVIA by May 14.
It will be unveiled at the RV Centennial Celebration on June 7 in Elkhart, Indiana.
