The many uses of baby wipes in and around your RV
A recent post by RV expert and the proclaimed "professor of RVing" Jim Twamley on RVNow.RVTravel.com sung the praises of using baby wipes to clean up an RV.
Twamley wrote that these convenient, moist wipes have a multitude of uses including mopping up spills on floors, shining up faucets, sinks and shower stalls as well as cleaning the inside of a microwave oven, leatherfurniture, ceiling fan blades, door knobs, dashboard, window frames, drawer and cabinet door pulls, stove top, light fixtures and just about anything else inside an RV.
Outside of the vehicle, baby wipes can be used to clean smashed bugs off of the windshield or headlights.
Twamley also says they are handy for a quick hand cleaning after working outside or on the RV motor or generator.
Readers commenting on the article agreed that baby wipes can help lighten the load of cleaning products carried on the road. Some suggested using similar wipe products that are specifically formulated for cleaning. These disinfectant wipes come in a variety of brands such as Clorox, Lysol, Mr. Clean and generic, store brands.
As always, RVers are advised to test a small area before using a new product in or on the vehicle.
