Absorption Refrigeration

An absorption cooling system works by removing heat from inside the refrigerator or freezer compartment, thereby producing cold. The system has four main components: the boiler, condenser, evaporator and absorber. There are no moving parts and the process is silent. The heat necessary to activate the absorption process is provided by LP or electricity (110-volt AC or 12-volt DC), giving the owner total flexibility on energy choice while traveling or camping.

Peltier, in which heat is transferred at the junction of two dissimilar metals when a small electric current passes between them. Whether heat or cold is produced depends on the direction of the electric current.
