A GPS designed for RVers
Portable GPS devices have made getting from point A to point B easier than ever. But drivers with trucks, buses or RVs often need alternate directions due to the size of their vehicles. The Garmin Nuvi 465T GPS Navigation System is ideal for drivers of these larger transports.
This product gives turn-by-turn directions with spoken street names. Its lane-assist function directs you to the preferred lane and it also displays road conditions and warnings to alert you to possible hazards, like sharp curves, steep grades and road narrowing.
In addition, it links locations in the National Truck and Trailers Services (NTTS) directory for points of interest helpful to truckers and RVers, including nearly 6 million points of interest such as hotels, restaurants, fuel stations, ATMs and attractions.
Other features include a high-sensitivity GPS receiver with touchscreen operation, color-coded safety alerts for road hazards, full coverage mapping for the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, truck data for the contiguous 48 states and a trip computer that records mileage, maximum speed and total time.
The product runs on a built-in lithium ion battery that lasts up to four hours. It also includes a 12-volt power cord.
