RV enthusiasts who want to learn more about how their vehicles work and how to make the most of their time on the road may be interested in attending the second annual RV Lifestyle, Education and Safety Conference.
The conference, which will be held May 6 to May 8, 2011 at the Carroll Knicely Conference Center at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is coordinated by the RV Safety & Education Foundation (RVSEF).
The event is designed to be more like a college course than a rally, and provides a rare opportunity for RV consumers to meet and interact with industry experts in both the lifestyle and technical aspects of RVing.
"The conference represents the one place where the new or experienced RVer can acquire good, unbiased information,” said Walter Cannon, executive director of RVSEF.
Conference attendees represent a wide variety of RV experience levels, ranging from full-time travelers to regular RV vacationers, recent purchasers and those investigating their first RV purchase.
Course instructors include RV manufacturers, dealers, and other industry experts.
The fee to attend the conference is $225 per person and includes courses, dry camping and entertainment.
Individuals interested in attending can register by visiting RVSafety.com.
