Many RVs are equipped with both storage bins underneath and slide-outs up top. While these two areas offer a great deal more room, they do require a bit of special attention.
Slide-outs offer you extra room indoors. They can increase your square footage significantly, but they need to be properly lubricated. Lubrication keeps your slide out moving in and out smoothly. The less friction the components experience, the less wear and tear on your RV every time you set it up. A pair of stabilizers underneath will keep the slide-out from sagging.
The storage bins underneath your RV can be quite deep. That means that getting everything in and out can take a bit of effort. Add some sliding trays and you won’t have to bend and stoop. Make sure you have a hatch lift that can support the cover, and you won’t have to manage holding it up simultaneously.
