Propane Detectors

With propane providing both cooking fuel and other sources of power, keeping an eye on your propane tank and levels is important. There are several tools available to you for keeping track of fuel usage and the state of your tanks.

Perhaps the best way to keep an eye on your tank is to install a gas gauge. These little devices will let you know how much gas you have left in the current tank. They also have a built-in leak detector. If a leak is found, use the leak detection spray to narrow down the location and confirm the problem. Sometimes, the only issue is a loose connection.

Finally, invest in a carbon monoxide detector of some sort. This will help ensure that propane isn’t leaking inside your camper or RV.
