A GPS is a great tool when you are traveling. While you may know your local camping hot spots, once you leave your comfort zone, a little help is called for. A GPS lets you program in your destination, and then provides directions that will get you there.
Many GPS units speak, so you don’t have to watch the monitor as you go along. Use a clip to mount it on your dash, and you are ready to go anywhere.
Good GPS units aren’t cheap, so you want to protect your investment. Screen protectors prevent scratches and glare. Keep the sun off of your GPS screen by adding a shade, and when you aren’t using the GPS, make sure you store it safely in a case.
Remember, GPS units are very appealing, so keep yours out of view when you are not in your RV.
