Voltage Meter

This is a very nice simple and accurate meter. It will drop to the yellow relatively quickly, it is sensitive. I did monitor it with a true volt meter and it was the same results. It is way more accurate than the one on the camper itself. It is nice to know the actual voltage so you can be proactive instead of reactive.

Checking trailer batteries

I have a 12-vdc outlet inside of a cabinet in my travel trailer in which I keep this voltage meter plugged into for checking my trailer's batteries voltage. Works great - for the price paid.

I have had this device for a number of years now and it never fails. I use it in my tow rig and it is plugged into the power port on the dash. I use it to monitor the battery condition along with the charging system. It is a very useful "tool" for me.

12/24 Volt LCD Voltage Meter

I have had this item for approximately 5 years now and it continues to work just fine. I have mine plugged in to an upper socket above the windshield of our Class A and am able to monitor the House batteries at all times. The only thing I have noticed lately is that all the LEDS are on all the time. Doesn't bother me because it reads very accurately.

LCD voltage meter

This product is an excellent way to measure your remaining battery power and voltage when dry camping in your RV. As with many RV's, my "built-in" power center voltage meter is grossly inaccurate-it shows green status, with no gradients, right up to the point where I have zero power remaining, the lights shut down, the pump dose'nt work, and I am out of power, having to start the generator or engine. Very inconvenient if you loose power in a campground late at night, or early AM, esp. when cold and need the furnace! After I bought one of these, I was able to measure remaining power very accurately in my house batteries, by also downloading and printint out a voltage conversion chart (i.e. 13.4v=100% remaining; 12.8v=60=70% remaining; 12.2 volts=30-40% power remaining, etc..) and taping it up in a cabinet next to the power outlet where I test. I highly recommend this product, it can save you a load of inconvenience if you dry camp a lot, like we do!

I am satisfied with mine.

I have had two of these, along with at least six or seven other volt meters (both consumer and professional grade). Within its obvious limitations as a line-powered electronic device, I am quite happy with the LCD voltage meter for the price. My two consistently read about 0.2 volts above what the professional self-powered multimeters say. This is no problem, as I just do the offset in my head. Occasionally the display will go blank, and I have to jiggle the meter in its 12 volt socket, but this is not a major thing either. Incidentally, autoparts stores sell similar meters for the same or higher prices, and those also read a couple tenths high. I have found the the cheap self-powered handheld multimeters on the market now actually have worse accuracy than this 12/24 volt LCD voltage meter.
