I had the same problem with leaking air while screwing it on. You don't lose much air. Need to the have the courage to keep screwing it on as fast as possible. After installation, I find that need a pair of pliers to hold it tight enough to check air pressure or add air. Going to check to see if there is a clip of some kind to help secure it the stainless steel wheel cover. Sure beats not having on the motorhome.

These fit well and operate as designed. You have to hold them while checking the pressure or adding air as they want to push away, but that is easy to handle.

These work great for getting air to the outer back wheels of my RV. It was very difficult to reach the valve before and get a good seal to check the air pressure. The 135 degree turn gave me good access but not perfect. I am going to try the 180 degree extenders for my wheels. Either one is a vast improvement over the existing valve direction.

Leaky seal

I bought these and put them on the front of the motorhome (19.5" tires) about 2 years ago. The driver's side tire began losing air slowly about 4 months ago, I just thought it was the weather, then it accelerated and lost 8 lbs over 45 days, then 34 pounds over a week, then finally was flat within 24 hours. Had to call the repair people out and they found that (I'd checked the extender for leaking too) the seal on it was bad from the factory. I am not at all happy with this and will remove the second extender (I've had no problems with the passenger side extender) and replace it as well when I put new tires on this year. I thought these would be a good purchase, but turned out, one of them was bad.
