These light strip are advertised as needing no tabs hooks or snaps,it does not mention the strips you have to add to the awning roller to hold the lights.I thought I was purchasing a light strip that slid into the awning roller as advertised. I first went to the store in Colfax to buy these but was told they did not have them in stock.

We have used these the first 2 times camping - we bought these thinking it would be easy to slide into awning - guess again - my husband had to use the back side of our hatchet to put them in and then had to use it again to get them out - they say it slides easily in - it does not - I would not recommend them to anyone to purchase -

I purchased and installed these lights this past weekend. I was initially impressed with the value, design and ease of install. After returning to our campsite a half an hour or so of turning them on there was a section of lights about 18" that was out and one single bulb had burned out . I tapped the section with my hand and it went back on, no luck with the single bulb. Had I not lost the receipt they would have been returned to the store.

I PURCHASED THIS LIGHT STRIP LAST MONTH, IT BLEW A FUSE EVERYTIME I PLUG THEM IN(AT MY HOUSE AND TWO DIFFERENT CAMPGROUNDS). I CALLED CW FOR A REPLACEMENT, I WILL MAKE A NEW REVIEW WHEN I RECIEVE THEM.

My Wife and I just purchased a set of these lights and as reported, they install very easy. It only took a few minutes to install. I do however have a question that maybe someone can help me with and
that is; can the track (Not the lights) be left on when rolling up the awning? Or is it recommended to remove the track also?

I am very happy with this product, the lighting looks better (less harsh) than it does in the picture on the CW website. It pops into its tracks very easily and securely. It also pulls out easily and stows conveniently, I roll it up like you would with an extension cord or short piece of hose. The one thing that keeps this from being a PERFECT product is that my awning flap hides it from view if you are standing to the side of the camper looking towards the camper and the awning. Therefore , it does not look as festive when you are walking by as it would with the "dangling" light sets that you can buy. However, I really like the convenience and simplicity of this product and feel the look of the lights and the glow it gives to be "just right". Would recommend and purchase again.
