Description

Whenever electrical power falls below 104 volts or rises above 132 volts, the EMS automatically shuts down power to the RV.

Once the electrical power rises above 104-volts, or below the 132-volt level, the time delay indicator flashes for the preset time and then automatically restores power to the RV. Features 3-mode surge protection, reverse polarity protection, open neutral/open ground protection and AC frequency protection.
Remote display: Scrolls continuously through all of the power source information: voltage, current, frequency, error codes, and previous errors. Each reading is displayed for 2 seconds.Modular design for easy repair, eliminating removal of unit.

This unit is great because you can have the remote meter in the coach to let you know where your electrical usage is at. I am very pleased with this and it takes such a load off not worrying about your electrical supply. I has been very effective at low voltage mid summer campgrounds about kicking out the supply when it drops below the minimums. Very pleased with Progressive's product and service.

I installed this myself and it was a very easy installation. These internal surge protection units are much better than the theft vulnerable external ones. I will probably remove this when we sell the vehicle and keep using it forever in any new rigs.

Excellent Item! All RV's Should Have One

Easy to wire and mount., fast shipping, and great price. This is a necessary item to protect your electronics and RV. The only thing is you need to remember to switch it off (the switch is on the remote device) if you hook up a generator/inverter. It only works with 120VAC post/house power; not a generator/inverter (no power will go through it), like a Honda EU2000i ( or two in parallel). After being sure the portable power is right, switch off the unit and you have power from a portable power source. You are not protected with the switch off. Label the switch for on and off. Also, I recommend placing the included error card above and behind it, fold it over to cover the red read- out, as it cycles through the voltage, Hz, and error code all night. If you sell your vehicle, reconnect the original wires with wire nuts and keep the unit for the next RV.

Easy hookup, nicely made, lifetime warranty, and modular for easy part replacement. Installed in plumbing access area. I consider it to be an insurance policy against bad wiring in campground.

Everyone we know with an RV said this is a must have and the price was very good. We had our local RV shop install it and he said we are good to go. It's hard to review something we can not see. It does makes us feel more protected from an electrical mishap which is what we bought it for !This appears very well made and it was actually MADE THE THE USA.
