Description

Tire pressure can be checked using the 5-in-1 Inflator/Deflator inline pressure gauge.

Note: The air hose supplied with this kit may become brittle from prolonged exposure to UV/sunlight. - Stow when not in use. Never allow the hose to come into contact with the head of the compressor during use (melting hazard). The use of the included air hose is not recommended in subzero or freezing conditions.

Need longer cord and air hose

First, the compressor itself seems ok... but the main reason I purchased this unit was for convenience and they skimped on the length of the cord and accessories. What was my problem? Between the short 12-volt power cord and the short air hose, I had to pull up a car to use as a power source b/c I could not fill rear passenger tires from the engine or house batteries without another person to stand on the compressor to hold it down. I researched these units and after watching their videos, reading specs, looking at reviews, I thought it would be hassle free to operate. I would like a longer power cord and would prefer a 120v regular plug instead of the 12-volt. I don't really see a great benefit to the 12 volt. If I have battery power, I can always start my generator. If a compressor is specifically marketed to RV owners, the accessories should be easy to use on any class C. The accessories were inadequate. On the bright side, the bicycle style head on the air hose actually makes the job easier (as opposed to a normal chuck) and the compressor filled the tires quickly. One caution, do not rely on the pressure gauge; it was 10 pounds higher than the TPMS and my manual digital gauges.
Pros: Pump worked quickly, Clamping head on hose makes job easier
Cons: Power cord too short, 120v would be better
