I'm in the HVAC industry in the retail end. Every year I am amazed at the lack of knowledge of things that kill you. CO can't be seen, smelled or tasted. You go to sleep and don't wake up. Our Jayco 29N is set perfect for this to be the alarm. Don't mess around get a hard wired unit. Check the date on yours. 5-10 years will be the max. I sleep better!
