bought for a gift, now we want one!

My husband and I shopped at our local Camping World for a folding table for our son's birthday gift. We looked at the Coleman 4-in-1, but screwing in each piece of the legs was very tedious. We tried the Fold N Half Table, and liked it a lot. Once the table top is folded out flat, you put it top-down on the floor to fold out the legs, and flip a red lever to keep the table top from folding up. (we'll have to see how long this little lever holds up) Then flip the table top-up, place your toe on the cross beam at the bottom, and press the buttons to release the legs and pull up to the desired height. Much easier to do this with the top up!! Same for putting it down. It DOES have a cloth handle to carry with when it is folded - just make sure it's sticking out when you do the final fold in half. It's light to carry, and takes up a small space. Would be nice if it had a carry bag to keep it clean, but oh well, he'll have to wipe it off.

Get What You Pay For

We haven't tried this out in a real camping situation so this review is strictly limited to setting it up in the house. Because there are no cross supports for the legs, it's a wee bit wobbly, but I anticipated that from looking at the picture before the purchase. Our intended use is for a table-top grill for outdoor grilling (not all parks have picnic tables). We'll need some sort of heat shield under the grill, to protect the table, but I think it'll work out okay. The two features we like the most is (1) the adjustable height - which elevates to about where a typical kitchen counter would be. And (2) it collapses down to a narrow footprint for easy storage. All in all, I feel good about the purchase and believe it to be worth the price. Hope that helps.

Got it to take the place of the horribly heavy table in our popup, not likely to be needing beds for 6. Got it at BJs for $36.

I have been using this table for quite a few years now. It was somebody else table so when I finally found the exact table I leaped at a chance to get it. The feature of elevating the height to counter height is the main feature I love because when I am working a gig for several hours it saves my back from leaning over to reach my tools. I am an airbrush artist and work a lot of parties. Not all of them supply a table so I bring this compact table with me. It sets up quickly and is sturdy. My partners table has taken a lot of abuse over the years and it has lasted. I recommend this table. The different heights come in useful for different projects. The hard plastic surface is hard to damage. All in all 5 stars.

The table is very sturdy and light weight. Fits great under the awning. Folds away nicely for easy storage. The table also has a built in carry handle.

Works great, stores small

I use it for my grill. Plastic is not affected by the heat of the grill (my grill has supports that hold it about 4 inches off the surface). It wipes of easily from any grease drips but technically the plastic is not heat resistant so don't put anything hot on it. I put a cheap basic plastic table cloth on it to help keep it clean from drips/spills. Here are the drawbacks. Pulling the legs out is not simple. I put the table upside down, push in one of the 'stops' on one leg, then have to hold tension pulling the leg out until I push in the 'stop' on the other leg. Then the legs will slide out to the next stop. You have to repeat this again if you want the table at its highest height. I don't put it all the way up since my grill stands another 12 inches on top of the table. Other drawback is that there isn't any handle to use to carry the table once it's folded up. The table is to large to store in my pass-thru storage on my camper so I store it on the floor of the camper when traveling. I've used it twice so far and think it's a pretty good table for it's size & price. Plastic finish hasn't discolored yet and I left it out during a torrential rain storm and don't see any negative affects on the table. Water didn't get held up in the legs. Hope this helps you make your decision.
