Even though my rig is 30amp, I use this adapter at every campground I go to that has 50amp service. I find that too many sites have defective 30amp breakers and they trip sometimes when the AC and the coffee maker come on at the same time or just the AC. Had to change sites a few times because of this. If there is an overload of any kind in the RV, the 30amp breaker inside will trip. This was a good investment.
