Description

Whenever electrical power falls below 104 volts or rises above 132 volts, the EMS automatically shuts down power to the RV.

Once the electrical power rises above 104-volts, or below the 132-volt level, the time delay indicator flashes for the preset time and then automatically restores power to the RV. Features 5-mode surge protection, reverse polarity protection, open neutral/open ground protection and AC frequency protection.
Remote display: Scrolls continuously through all of the power source information: voltage, current, frequency, error codes, and previous errors. Each reading is displayed for 2 seconds. Modular design for easy repair, eliminating removal of unit.

Why do RV's come without these? I did a lot of researching various brands of poweprotection and decided on Progressive Industries. For theft, accidental damage prevention and ease of use having it mounted inside our 5th wheel made it a no-brainer. The remote display just made it that much better.Don't leave home without it.

Top Notch Surge Protector

Excellent surge protector, does everything it's advertised to do. Best of all, it's mounted inside the RV, out of the weather, and not visible to possible theft. Recommend NOT cutting your existing 50-amp cord if possible. I disconnect the 4 wires from my RV elec panel, and connected the loose ends of these wires to the input side of the surge protector. Purchased a 3 ft. section of #6 wire from my local big box store to connect the output side of the surge protector to my RV electrical box. This allows me to remove the surge protector if I trade 5th wheels, and reconnect my original wiring. Love being able to monitor current draw from each leg of my 50A service from inside the 5th wheel with the provided remote monitor.
