Must Have Item

Ok, heres the deal, this works great with the Level Master Catalog Item # 6440 which it is intended for. You must make sure that you put this on a level surface before tightening the screws down. Then Pre Drill your holes into the Pin Box to make this work right. Also you must use a level to make certain that you have these items installed correctly. I have had one of these and the Level for over 7 months and can't complain about it at all. It works for me.

I used this with the leveler. It has been a good item. The self tapping screws that you use are good, but pre drill the holes first. That way the screws will not snap off and you can get a more accurate install. I used a 3/16 drill bit on mine to do this.

Poor quality screws & instructions

The self tapping screws for these brackets are not strong enough tap the steel of the fifth wheel hitch. No drill size instructions either. Finally went to the hardware store and bought new Stainless Steel 1/4-20 bolts and star washers. Drilled the hitch box and threaded it with a tap. Works fine now.
