After reading other reviews the same complaint came to mind the plastic insert inside the cloth is not fixed in place you need to glue it in so it doesn’t slide out. Not that big of a deal but enough to keep it from receiving 5 stars. I like it because it’s flexible and you only need to remove the metal hooks before rolling up the awning, (note I did bend the metal hooks closer together to keep it from coming out during breezy day). After trying 1 set for a couple of trips I ended up purchasing a second set.

Chose this set as they reminded me of my youth and the webbing we used to use in our lawn chairs (that it was always my job to replace when they wore out!) They look great with the Etched Bronze Globe set we purchased them for. I would agree with Nancy's review in that the end one does tend to travel with the weight of the last globe on the string, but wedging a piece of 3M Removable Adhesive Putty into the groove next to it helped! It's also nice to have gotten a package of 8, so that we have a couple of spares since the globe set is only a string of 6.
