Lots of heat in a small package

We purchased this fan about 3 or 4 years ago for use on our sailboat. It is compact, puts out a lot of heat, and you can set it to oscillate back and forth or only blow in a single direction. One of our boat partners claims that he cannot sleep when it is operating because of the noise, but my husband and I don't have any problem with the noise. The fan we purchased several years ago finally 'died -- just stopped working. I suspect something internal corroded, after all this isn't necessarily intended to be use in a marine environment. It is a testimony to our satisfaction that we replaced the old one with the exact same heater!

    Nice little heater

Nice little heater, works very well & puts out plenty of heat for it's size. Only thing wrong with it is it's a little noisy if you keep it in your bedroom in a fifth wheel camper, putting it out in the kitchen or the next room is fine with it on oscillate and the thermostat set on halfway to warm the whole area in a 38' fifth wheel in the middle 40's with the wind blowing 25 to 30 overnight. Kicked the furnace on for a few minutes in the morning & shut them both off after showers and all was fine with the fireplace until the next night.

This is the best little heater available. I kid you not. Forget about the noise as stated in an earlier review. Its nothing compared to the amount of heat this thing puts out for its size and price. Get two when you order. You'll wish you did.

good source of heat, but LOUD!

This heater puts out a good amount of heat, and the width of the oscillating pattern is wider than any other heater that I've had. I deducted 1 star because this heater is LOUD. It is noiser than any other space heater that I have had. The manufacturer should really try to cut down on the noise level. Also, it does not have a tip-over safety switch.

Used for the first time this weekend to heat a 100 sq.ft.Aliner Expedition Camper. Temperatures were in the upper twenties and the heater was more than adequate on the low setting. My only complaint was the noise level, although, it was quieter than the built in propane heater in the camper.

This little heater quickly takes the chill off cool mornings and evenings. I'm amazed at the heat output this little unit actually throws out. It warms up the living area of our 33' 5th wheel very nicely, and the compact size makes it easy to store. After using about a month, it does sometimes make some weird noises, but doesn't seem to affect the performance. Note: the filter picks up lint and hair and needs to be cleaned often if you travel with pets.

    Great Little Heater

I like this heater because it has pretty good output (1000 or 1500 watts) and is very small, making it easier to place in a corner or walk around. It is quiet so I use this when hooked to shore power. I currently spend four nights a week in my trailer and this is the only heat my trailer needs for most nights. It seems to have a good thermostat. I like the option to oscillate. Good unit so I bought another one for my house.

We were surprised camping when the temperature dropped to 33 degrees. We have a 12 foot tent camper and were extremely cold. We were not comfortable using the propane furnace on our unit, so we found a local Camping World and purchased this heater. That night it was in the low 30s again, but we were very comfortable. We didn't even have the heat on all the way. This is a great little heater. The exterior stayed cool, but it put out the heat.

We have the older model and I can't say enough good things about this little unit. We have had it for four years and it is still working great. We have never used the furnace in the trailer. It heats so well. I love that is doesn't stay on all the time. We keep the thermostat set at only about half way. Can't go wrong with this buy.

We purchased this heater around Thanksgiving 2006. Purchased at the Camping World near St. Augustine, Fl. However we did'nt use it at that time. We did use it during the week after Christmas while camping or more like resorting at the KOA at Lake Okeechobee. We took a grueling side trip to Key West and back. When we got back at 1:00 am it was pretty cold. I cranked up the camper gas furnace and to keep my wife from having to sleep with her coat on I figured now would be a good time to try out the little ceramic heater. We have a Kodiak 19FL which isn't very big and has a very good heater but between the 2 heaters it got toasty very quick. I turned the gas heater way down and just used the ceramic heater. That was more than enough for a night in the forties. It worked quietly and efficiently. The oscilllation feature works great and has an on off switch. This heater works much better than what I expected. I did use the gas furnace in the morning to heat the bathroom up for showers. Highly recomend this product.

I purchased this heater at the begining of December 2006 for a 32' Class C as a substitute for the more expensive propane. Running off of the generator or hooked up to electricity, I find this an excellent source of heat. Heat regulation and thermostate controls have worked excellent and for a small heater, very quiet. I am extremely happy with the device. I even keep it on when at home and hooked up to home power the keep the RV dry and warm on these very unususal cold California nights. 28 degrees outside and 72 degrees inside seems like a good deal to me.

    Oscillating Ceramic Heater

We purchased this heater just after Thanksgiving and used it over this Christmas Holiday. We have a 37' class A and it was moderate at keeping the coach warm. I did have to bang it a couple of times because it acted as if the fan was stuck because it made a funny noise. Im really considering getting the better one that camping world sells. I think it shouldnt have been making the noises that it did considering it was the first time we used it.

    Oscillating heater

I was given one of these as a gift. It really puts out the heat and is very steady. I leave the thermostat below half setting to maintain 68 degrees. The only drawback would be the noise of the fan when using it in a small area like my fifthwheel bedroom. I have to crank up the television but it don't bother me sleeping.
