Water Theif

This will be a great addition to my stuff here in California where all the state and county campgrounds do not have threaded water spigots and you can't leave a hose hooked up as there's only one spigot for about every three or four camp sites.

WOW, OK this thing lets you hook a hose up to just about anything!!! We have 2, one for fresh water fills on non-thread pipe-stands, and one for hooking up to those annoying NPS and USFS hoses that won't let you get a decent flush rinse when you dump. Works great with our Valterra Hydro-Flush (another must have) even in low pressure situations. (Actually we have 3, one gets hot water from the sink to a bootleg clothes washer at home.) Get a couple of these!!!!

This is a must have in your camping arsenal! Attach a short hose and you no longer have to hold up your drinking water jug to the spicket. Just put your jug on the ground and attach the water thief to the spicket, put the end of the hose in your water jug and presto! A real back saver!

We used the Water Thief to attach to our central air conditioning runoff pipe at our house, so we can attach a hose to carry the water away from the wall and to a plant. It works great!

we went to state parks monterey ca area and found that some have no water for your fresh tank system at there gate.all tho the camp spot had a water spout but not threaded on the end for your hose some one camping had one of these and let us use there's said he got it from Ace Hardware. glad i found it bought (2) just in case. Buy a $1.35 clamp for the end to attach it to the spout. just need a screw driver.

Great accessory! I recommend using a hose clamp to hold it onto faucet and do not use full pressure tends to baloon .

I have used this device dozens of times on smooth brass faucets and those with filed-off threads with success. I find it an indispensible item while camping in many National Forest campgrounds.

When used as intended, this economical little gem works great. It's supposed to be held to the faucet or hose BY HAND. It's not meant to be pressurized by using a hose clamp. I use it at dump stations that have brass nozzles that don't have hose fittings. The water thief allows me to use my garden hose and my flush king to backflush my tanks. I HIGHLY recommend this item!
