We installed ours under the over head cabinet, on the outside though. We use it to store our cards, dice games, paper and pens. It is perfect for this. No more searching around for these items, they are all in one place, my husband installed it in the corner above the table. When we are on the road, we just pull the drawer out and secure it in the cabinet so it does not spill out.
