Each folding leg adjusts independently, locking open at 8 1/4"H, 7 3/4"H, 7 1/4"H and 6 3/4"H for maximum stability. Corrosion-resistant aluminum with charcoal powder coat finish, non-slip treads and no-mar leg tips.
Item number 69338 is available to replace worn or damaged feet on the stool.
We have a 40' 5th wheel and most places we camp at are unlevel leaving the entry step up too high. This is a nice light weight st...ep and the adjustable legs are usually enough to level the step. I would recommend this item as a must have item in the camper for sure.
Great addition to our 5th wheel - anytime the curbside wheels are raised with leveling
blocks, this adjustable step compensates ...for the extra trailer height - each leg is
independently adjustable for a perfect step.
Great product.. this was purchased for an extra step up to the loft in my 5th wheel.. the first step was 12 high and i needed some...thing to compensate the height. I will also use it outside for a platform.
I recommend this product!
THIS IS A ROCK STEADY PLATFORM. GOT IT FOR MY MOM WHO HAS A HARD TIME
STEPPING UP ON MY STEPS WHEN THERE HI. THIS GIVES HER A ST...URDY
PLATFORM THAT IS STEADY AND MAKES HER COMFORTABLE AND SECURE ,
Although a little pricey, worth it. I am 300 pounds. I set this up and immediately tested
its sturdiness. By standing on it and ...jumping up and down approx. 2 inches. Never
flexed at all. Also the fact that all 4 legs adjust means that you can nearly always level the step on any terrain. Makes it nice to step into/out of a level motorhome onto a level step as opposed to one that is off-camber.
Really like how sturdy this step is for the weight and ease of use. Light enough for the kids to have no problems setting it up an...d easy enough for them to level it out on
almost any ground. The independent adjustment of all four legs really helps.
We love this stepup. It has very handy when we have the RV level and the final step down it to high. With the adjustable legs it m...ake it extremely easy to adjust the step down for the correct height.
Our entrance to our trailer is at the back and so often the step would be too high off the ground. This adjustable step
is great.... It is sturdy. With adjustment, the step eliminates the difficulty of entering. I like having the step and would recommend it to a friend to purchase.
Very well built. Sturdy and light. Works great for the whole family even the dogs. Light
enough my wife can carry it with ease. ...The legs were a little tight when folding out of the
box but are starting to move a little easier with use. I also like the rubber feet. I would
recommend this step to anyone.
Really like the fact that each leg is adjustable separately as most camp site are not perfectly level. So that feature alone make ...this platform step a real step up from the fixed leg models that wobble every time you set them up. However, I feel the adjustment positions should be
much closer. Will need to get more real life experience before I make up my mind
My wife saw the sale ad for the Platform Step, read the
reviews, checked online - then ordered this product. Her
review: I love ...that this step is so solid - I feel
absolutely safe when stepping on it. As a matter of fact,
it is at home right now - I am using it instead of the step
stool we have in the garage. Seriously thinking about
ordering a second one for the RV! Would definitely recommend
it to my friends.
We do a lot of camping in the mountains and in forest service campgrounds where we encounter a lot of uneven ground. This platform... step has been wonderful. Easy to adjust each leg independently, to easily achieve a level step. Very sturdy. Tread-like surface keeps the mud and debris outside. Used ours for close to a year, liked it so well we purchased one for our son and family to use with their new trailer as a Christmas present and they love it, too. Would definitely recommend this to others.
Pricey, but worth it.
Bought this adjustable step for my wife. She was having a hard time with reaching the
1st step going into our motorhome. This ha...s made a huge difference, and I love the
idea that the legs adjust individually so when on uneven ground you can adjust
Lightweight and adjustable. This is the second style of steps that I have purchased. The first
was heavy and bulky and not adjus...table in height. They were made of carbon steel. These
are made of aluminum. Easy to handle and set up. My dog doesn't have to take them out
and set them up and he doesn't mind using them to get in the coach. Would recommend them
as the best steps for rvs.
This step is absolutely solid. I am very short and have a hard time getting on the first step
on our travel trailer. The step do...es not wobble but is steady so I can securely step up to the
first trailer step. I love it. Well worth the price.
We purchased our step 2 years ago. We love it. Solid. The only problem is, the legs don't fold in
as easy as when they're new. A...lso buttons to adjust height are hard to get at and don't work so
well when temperatures are cold. Even with a few problems, we would buy it again.
I almost sprained my ankle badly when misjudging the last step down from my camper
before I had my coffee. The individual adjust...able legs are great for uneven ground.
Extremely stable and strong - feels like stepping on firm hard ground - no movement or
shaking. I consider this an essential safety feature for any RV.
One time with a high first step at an unlevel site was one time too many. Started
researching steps and even designed my own to ...build. Went camping with a friend and he
had this step. Gave it a thorough inspection and found it to be the best of what I had been
researching. Yes it can take a few minutes to adjust each leg, but that allows you to match
your site grade. I wash it off after use and lubricate the adjustment points - no problems. Did
purchase the replacement feet after reading other posts, but haven't had to install them yet.
I just bought a new fifth wheel camper and the bottom step of the entrance was very tall
and it was awkward to open the door fro...m the bottom stair. This platform is very study
and added exactly what I needed -- a step up to get into the camper and also the
clearance so that I can open the door without getting knocked off the step. Perfect
This step weighs 10 pounds, the legs lock into place with a spring-loaded push button on each leg. This is made by Stromberg Carlson Products Inc., and is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum.
