I bought this pressure regulator for the obvious reason - to protect my RV from high CG water pressure and spikes. It worked as advertised for the first dozen or so times I used it over a period of four months. Then one day I noticed that it was putting out only 30 psi rather than the 50 psi which I had originally set. Upon trying to adjust the pressure I found the adjustment frozen, unable to move even to the point of deforming the wrench flats. I used the unit thereafter only a few times when I was really concerned about water pressure wherever we happened to be. By the time the regulator was eight months old rust discoloration began to appear in the pressure gauge. At that point I donated the brass to the recycling bin. I recommend against buying this item.

I bought one and sometimes the gauge would read 80 to 100 lbs. It was set to about 50 lbs. Very intermittent. Took it back and got another one. Same thing. Sorry, I cant trust it.
