I bought this a few months ago and it has never worked correctly. No matter how you turned the screw on top it read 60psi and then rust appeared in the gauge.. Stay clear of this one!!!!

I wrote the review "A Rip Off". Since then I was contacted by the factory rep. of Valterra Adjustable Water Regulator. I was sent a replacement to try. I will report my finding after trying a different regulator. I was pleasantly suprised and appreciated the quick response from Valterra.

I purchased this expensive regulator to protect my water system. After 2 months the pressure went over 80 psi. I tried to adjust the regulator with no results. I took it apart, cleaned the RUST from all the enternal parts. It worked for one trip. Then I noticed the gauge needle had gone behind the pin, showing zero pressure. I replaced the gauge, to find out it was reading over 80 psi again. Please DO NOT purchase this regulator. It is not worth the expence or the trouble.
