I have never riden a bike before and I am 66 yrs young. I have tried to learn on a 2 wheel bike, but I have a fear of falling. We purchased this bike and I was able to keep up with my husband on a recent trip. He was so impressed and proud of me. I love this bike. We also put a tag on it the reads "My First Bike". We get lots of comments on it. We did have a problem on how to travel with it, but he made a special rack for me on the back of our trailer to strap it on, so off we go. It gives me the freedom I have never experienced before and I love it.

I kept falling off my 2 wheeler .I am 73 now & I have riden this bike earlier this year as far as 8.5 miles in one day & another 9 miles the next day in Death Valley, CA . It has served me all over the US. I ride safely but sometimes pretty fast down hills, I have adjusted to the corners by shifting my weight and leaning.. This is a great bike for those of us who are older and have some physical limitations. The wide seat makes a huge difference in the comfort when riding a longer distance. I especially like the the adjustable seat heights & 20" wheels as I am only 5 ft tall and can easily rest my foot on the ground. It is sturdy and has had no problems. I have not had to have it repaired and only have to put air in the (original) tires @ 1 time per month. I would recommend this Trike for any one. I will be getting a new three wheeler next year as this one has been out in all kinds of weather and is starting to show some wear. My Samoyed, Sabrina, has run beside me since she was a pup. she watches the front wheel & knows which way I am going to turn. It sure helps keep me healthy & happy.

My husband bought me the Trike after I road it around the store to see if I could. I love my Trike, I am careful going around corners as we all should be and going down hill. I am 69 and have a fear of falling off my 2 wheel bike so this is just my speed. I usually ride in first or second gear as my knees hurt, not being use to riding. Take your time and just be happy you can ride again.

Great Bike

Now that I'm older and have problems with my back and balancing, I donated my 10-speed 2-wheeler and purchased this bike along with the optional basket to be able to bring my small dog along. A very comfortable ride and I have no problem shifting as with another reviewer. I do agree that when cornering or going over speed bumps it seems somewhat off balance and as with one reviewer, I am very cautious under these circumstancess.

Bike Rack

Very good bike, a little dicey when cornering but you learn quickly to not take corners very fast. Although this is classified as a bike for RVer`s, there are no ladder mounted racks that I could find for use on the back of a motorhome or fifth wheel.

no directions?

I received this trike, it won't shift into first gear. I have called camping world, and they have promised to send instructions, but so far, nothing. I would give the bike 5 stars IF it had come with instructions. The bike came with no directions, just a picture on the box showing we needed pliers, wrench and an allen wrench to set the bike up.. . Don't know where any of these tools would be used. I could sure use some ideas on how to make this thing shift to first gear. it shifts fine from second to third and back to second, but it will not go to FIRST at all. Anyone out there have any ideas?? How about it, Camping World? Do you have any instructions for this Bike??
