This stabilizer is light weight and easy to handle. Made a big difference in the shakiness of our bedroom. In fact, it stopped the shaking. Easy to put up and easy to take down and store.

Very pleased with my purchase. I'm glad I invested in the aluminum version of the King Pin Stabilizer versus the steel one that costs a little less. It's worth it: easier to carry, stow and set up since it weighs about half as much as the steel version -- and being aluminum, it obviously will not rust like steel would. Set up is simple and quick. And, as I hoped, it significantly improved the stability of our 5th wheel trailer while parked. It comes with a small padlock to secure the unit once it is installed, but that padlock is quite small and not very sturdy. I'm using a larger Master Lock that I already had. It fits just fine.

Now camping in our 35' fiver in Florida right on the beach. A cold front blew thru and we spent the night rocking from winds gusting 35-45 mph. The slide-out awnings were like sails! Drove up to the local Camping World store and bought the Aluminite King Pin Stabilizer, plus a set of slide-out stablizers. Installed them immediately with the wind still howling. Made a HUGE improvement in the trailer's stability. Why did I wait so long to buy these??

I was happy with this it did the trick to fix the wobble up front on my fifth wheel. however the screw portion was almost on it's last thread and I had to buy the theextension to make sure that it would have enough height to have a few more threads on it in the jack. I would recommend buying the extensions at the same time to save another delivery.
