This is great little device to check how much energy is being used by plug in appliances. I have checked several items and was suprised to see the actual energy consumption.

I plugged thisin to my hair dryer and found it pulled 1768 watts. WOW! Well my Honda 2000i would be maxed out on just the hair dryer! So if I decide to use my hair dryer I'll use it on low. That pulls 650 watts and on cool it pulls 250 watts. So this is a great tool to help you know what your various items pull before you overload your generator. Plug it up to your various items to avoid guessing how many will fit on your generator. It has a big display and easy to read and use. Nice tool to have around.
