I just replaced an old Aqua Magic IV with the Style Plus, and it's a big improvement. Looks good, much more comfortable, easy to i...nstall. It flushes vigorously. Of course, it doesn't leak either (the old toilet leaked). Camping World had a much lower price than the other store I tried. Wish I had done this a year ago!
We replaced an older Thetford unit with this one. What a difference. It does flush the entire bowl. Installation was the proble...m. The older unit removal procedure needed several more tools than I had available. The old flange had the bolts at an odd angle. Also, the water line needed to be a different length. A trip to Camping World solved these problems. A flange adapter and a length of water line was all I needed. The staff was very helpful.
Now that everything is in place and working well, we are very pleased.
This toilet comes in the Jayco Senec as standard equipment. Ours is a 2015 with only 10k miles. We have dumped the black tank abou...t 6 times since owning it and now the toilet is broken. The pedal will move the flush valve part way, so it won't flush the bowl completely, and then it wont close the valve either, just leaving the stench from the black tank to come back into the coach. I am taking this to Camping World tomorrow and hoping not to get the usual run-around from them as we purchased the Good Sam Warranty that should cover this.
Camping World fails to meet the lowest of expectations. On June 6, 2016, our Thetford Aqua Magic Style Plus toilet in our Jayco Se...neca 36FK broke. The ball valve that opens the toilet to the sewage tank directly below broke, the valve will not open or close when you press the flush pedal. Try not to think of the foul smell of the Black Sewer tank filling the Motorhome as the ball valve will not close completely, we had to evacuate the coach and abruptly abandon our trip. A phone call quickly followed to Camping World of Draper Utah. I spoke to Andy Kalikakis in the service department and advised him of our situation, and wanted to get this fixed. We purchased the Good Sam Extended Service Plan with the coach in March 2016 and provided Andy all of the details on the model of the toilet and our service plan documentation. Andy indicated that it would be a "one day repair" and that he was booked until August 16th to bring it in. We delivered the Coach to Camping World the evening of August 15th. Since then, I have spoken to Andy and he advised me that since this is a Thetford Warranty item, they have to follow their protocol and have Thetford ship them the required parts to perform the repair. They do not take parts from their existing inventory of service/parts department and perform the repair, instead they have to wait for the parts to arrive from the manufacturer. There is currently no confirmation of shipment from Thetford and no tracking of parts shipments to Camping World. I sent Ed Minor (Thetford representative) an email on the afternoon of the 16th to inquire when the parts would be shipped/delivered. To date, there has been no response from Ed at Thetford, I still have no idea when my Motorhome will begin to be repaired and have no level of confidence that it will be completed in time for our annual vacation scheduled to depart on the 25th of this month.
Some folks find this set up to be very difficult to use. The single pedal is very hard to just fill with some water and not flush.... You would have thought there would have been a better stop feature so you could easily fill with water. As for flushing....it is ok. Visitor to my coach find it difficult as do children.......I'm now stuck with this product since it is
not a warranty issue. I guess difficult operation does not fall in that catagory.
I tried to install this toilet in my RV as an upgrade. I found it would not fit. From the center of my mount on the floor, to my ...back wall is 9 inches. This toilet needs
11inches. Nowhere in the specs do they give that information.
We had an older Aurora toilet, which the previous owner of
our Airstream put in, but I did not care for its boxy style.
I wanted... a toilet that looked like a residential style high
profile toilet, as my husband and I are full time RVers.
My husband found installation easy and I am so pleased with
this toilets design and comfortable seat.
Would highly recommend this Thetford toilet.
Have had this unit in use approx. 3 months. Looks great and works great. Plastic seat and cover as well as the china bowl shines... like new with a damp cloth. This unit replaced a 10 year old unit made by the same company. I put a 2 riser under this hi profile model. Makes an extremely comfortable seat. As a full timer, this is a very important item in my RV. Can't say enough good things about this unit. Suggest to all my RV friends.
I bought this toilet to replace the standard toilet in my Adventurer. The factory toilet was
so small, it was uncomfortable for ...an adult to use.
This toilet is listed as standard residential size, and works quite well. It's not as big as
an elongated bowl, but is adequate.
The nice thing about this bowl is that it doesn't protrude any further into the small
bathroom than the old toilet.
I would highly recommend this product, and at the sale price, you can't go wrong.
This is a 2-bolt setup.
