Description

AquaCharge is a compact 7" by 3.25" by 5.5" and lightweight 3.6 pounds. It is ideal for a wide range of home applications including routine hot tub cleanings, and aquarium, clogged sink, toilet, wet basement, and laundry room draining. It is also equally effective in removing water from small marine craft such as kayaks, dinghies, canoes, and sailboats.

The portable AquaCharge runs on a safe, low voltage battery, which is fully submersible and can be used to pump out fresh or salt water. It includes a submersible pump, eight-foot hose, rechargeable NiMH battery, and charging station. AquaCharge also connects to any standard garden hose; and, with a 200-gallon per charge pump capacity, it resolves household water mishaps easily with the simple twist of a switch.

My main reason for the average star rating is that this pump is not recommended for potable water and not advertised as such. Also not happy with the non-standard battery it uses as it would be more useful if you could replace batteries on the fly instead of recharging for 12 hrs

This sure beats trying to hold the 7gal water can next to the camper and fill up the water tank at a non hook up campground. We just pour the water into a pan and the pump transfers it into our tank. This little thing also helps me drain the hot tub.

The first pump I received had a defective charger which never shut off. I was sent a replacement which works fine. I haven't used it enough to determine the battery charge life but will use it to drain my pool cover in the spring.
