Purchased one afternoon, plugged in that night, and the next morning only two-thirds of the string of lights were working. I was very disapointed with the quality of these lights.

Ordered my 3rd one today. I leave them hooked together and lay them around the edge of my patio mats and up against the rv. They are WAY better than just using my porch light and don't bother other campers by being too bright. They still put out plenty of light and the best thing is they are led's and no problems with bulbs. I bought these with the intention of NOT using them on the awning and just as perimeter lighting. I could not be more satisfied.

I discovered when I first plugged in the rope light after taking it off the storage reel that there is a broken wire in the rope light that causes the entire string to blink on and off based on how the rope is flexed. Also, 4 of the lights near the plug end are not working. There is no way this can be made to work. Very poor quality item.
