A winner- but could be better

This is a marriage saver! It heats our poor man's RV converted cargo trailer easily
on low setting and my wife loves it. BUT - This unit could be made much better with the following improvements: 1) Redesign the 6 volt power to 12 volts to allow a direct connection to RV power; 2) Add an optional thermostat controller (would be expensive but I would be willing to pay for it) - 3) Add a push button (or better yet, electronic auto-spark) for the piezo ignitor and redesign the gas control valve - the pilot ignitor twist-knob system is confusing for newbies and the instructions are not sufficiently clear on how to start the pilot light - and the knob movement is sloppy and requires jiggling to work properly. 4) Should have a CO alarm built-in for added safety (I bought one at Home Depot for 10 bucks). If you accept the above limitations, this unit will satisfy your small RV occasional use heating requirements. It's not meant to take the place of a commercial quality heating unit, after all, and it's nice to be able to use the small propane bottles and not need to install a big propane tank system for just occasional use.
