The most solid outdoor lighting I've ever seen

To start out with, these things are solid. The cording is solid, the globes are impact resistant (tested personally) and when paired with LED bulbs (this part is a must) they don't attract insects. We spent almost 100 bucks for the LED light bulbs, but the lighting quality and the lack of insect attraction combined with these sturdy, attractive lights is a solid win.

Bronze Globe Lights are great!

Ten globes seemed a few too many at first, but having the extra light is perfect. I use compact fluorescent bulbs and the whole string only uses 130 watts and the globes hardly get warm. Plenty of light and long enough to surround the whole campsite.

Received my lights and was happy to take them to camp and hang them. They looked so pretty when they were up and I couldn't wait for night to come. Plugged them in and was enjoying them when they went out. Hubby checked them and the plug was defective. What a disappointment as we were to stay all week and were expecting guests.

We just purchased a new fifth wheel camper, And haven't had a chance to use them yet. But I was very impressed with the quality when they arrived. The cord is heavy duty and well insulated, very durable, and coiled between spans of globes, plenty long enough to fit large awnings. The globes are a very sturdy construction and well made, they screw on for a secure fit no chance of comming loose or falling off or letting water in. the hooks are large enough to fit on any awning clip with ease and the bulb sockets are made of porcelain not plastic, very sturdy construction.Better then the cheap plastic paito lights you get from other stores. I have shopped around other retailors, you can get a set of ten from Camping World and only six from others for about the same price, And just knowing that you can order replacement globes if need be is a plus. Well worth they money spent!!, If your looking for a quality set of awning lights this is the set to purchase very impressive!! I'm sure we will be enjoying ours for a long time to come!!! Thanks Camping World for a quality product!!!

Great Set of Lights!

These lights are very impressive! The thick line cord seems well insulated and is long enough to run up the front bar of my awning, down the side of the RV, forward to the outlets near the front and I still tied up some of the wire to take up the slack. The plastic parts are thick and durable. The globes are solid. The bulb sockets are porcelain. The hanging hooks are a good size. The 10 light set easily fits my 20 foot awning without stretching the coils. All in all, a very high quality set of lights and well worth the price considering what you'd pay for a single lamp of lesser quality. I used clear 40 watt ceiling fan bulbs. They are smaller than regular bulbs and can handle vibration. I also use a hand-held dimmer to adjust the amount of light. Plug the dimmer into the outlet and the lights into the dimmer. Again, this is a great set of lights!

Love these lights. Only takes about 5-7 minutes to put on. If that!! Looks great! And saves time!! We only use 7 watt bulbs, 60 watt to bright! These things will last forever, sturdy coil connecting the globes, can't say enough about them!! Love 'Em!

Nice Light Set

I used 40 wat bulbs and they seem to put out more than enough light. However, be careful with the globes. They are rather fragile and break easily. Especially in cool weather. Better buy a few replacements to carry in your coach. But overall we are very pleased with this product.
