Feb 22, 2010, while traveling on Hwy 58 approx 12 mi from Barstow CA. a tire on 5th wheel basically fell apart. We called the roadservice @ 11:40am and were told it would be 60 to 90 min. for "Mechanic Inc" out of Barstow to come and change our tire (we had a spare). We waited for 3 1/2 hrs, during that time we made several calls to the road service who continued to say they were on their way. Then we got a call from the tow truck driver who said he was in a town approx 50 miles away and would get there as soon as he could. A couple of trailer travelers stopped to see if they could help, both had major health issues, including myself, but one traveler had a jack and the three unhealthy men changed the tire. We called the roadservice and told them to forget the call and that we extremely unhappy with the people that they had contracted with for their service calls. We are now looking for a new roadservice.

I have been a member since 6/1999. On Jan. 9, 2010, 15' outside. MY wife and I heading for Florida on I-20 east, just past the Mississippi River bridge at Vicksburg MS. Our 1999 Dodge diesel truck lost power. Pulled off road asap. Called Road Care. About every 30 minutes they would call us back to let us know what they had found out about the wrecker to tow both the truck and 2008, 32' 5th wheel trailer. The tow man talked to me to find out what he would be pulling. Within 1 hour 45 minutes, we were towed to a diesel mechanic shop. The mechanic shop called someone to tow us to the nearest campground. Road Care called back to verify that we were off the road and safe. The personnel on the phone was very professional and caring. Then on March 9, 2010, 32' outside. Had to call Road Care again. The clutch had went out on truck. Within 1 hr. 45 mins. we were towed to
ElDorado, AR. The tow man came out to the site to see what he would be towing. Wrecker towed the truck, another truck towed the 5th wheel to their shop. There again Road Care called to verify that the wrecker was on way and that we were safe. We are very pleased with Camping
World Road Care Service and would recommend to any RV traveler.

I have been a member since 3/2003. Prior to joining I was a member of AAA and Sears road care programs. They can not compare with Camping World. I feel very secure withmy car, truck, boat, trailer,
motorcycle and travel trailer when I travel. No other programs offer this protection. I have used it on many occasions. It is the best.

Today we called for assistance to get a car towed for a problem with the brakes. We were TOLD where we could take the car to be fixed, and the towing distance was limited to 5 miles "as a courtey". AAA will to over 100 miles. Good bye Camping World, welcome back AAA

I had a blow out on the inside dual of my 37ft Bounder..At 12:13pm I called camping World Road Service I was on hold for 40 min. until a rep answered the phone. It was Sunday so I thought not too bad.
Was told 1 hour wait time. At 1 15min automated service calls to check. on hold another 20 min to tell them he just arrived. Tow truck driver had no tools to handle the job. I called road service again at 2:24pm and on hold for 30 min. new company being searched. 4:07pm new service dispatch was told approx 30. The driver arrived in 15min changed the tire in 15 min. and was stowing my flat when
Camping World road serviced called and said no able to come out right now. I informed him the repair was done, I was ask to confirm it was TCI tire service which I did and the tech had a Po in hand already. 4 1/2 hours sitting alongside the freeway with a wife and 2 grand children on a August day in Florida was no fun. I unloaded my tow veh. and sent them away after 3 hours. Not Pleased, I hope this was an exception to the rule for them.

Recent trip experienced a blowout on inner dual tire along I-26. Received associate with very little wait, very cordial, did not have a spare so purchased new tire and set up a roadside replacement. Tire service ran late but when they arrived very professional and I was satisfied overall.

On Saturday, December 23, 2007, approximately 2:00 pm, on I40
heading west toward Oklahoma in western Arkansas, my 2003 Ford
Excursion broke a rocker arm and it lost one of the cylinders while pulling
our 34 foot Keystone Cougar travel trailer. Me, my wife, and three
children got to an exit and called the Road Care number on the card. Our
truck was on the wrecker and the camper was hitched to the wrecker in
45 minutes from the call. We were then taken to a camp ground and set
up with in the next 30 minutes. We had someone pick us up that night
and take us home leaving our camper and truck at the campground.
With one phone call on December 26th the wrecker picked up the
excursion, at the camp ground, and towed it to a Ford dealer. The
personnel on the phone were professional and called me back two or
three times to verify that the wrecker arrived and we were set up at the
camp ground. Have had this insurance for 4 years now and will not leave
home with out it. We also refer it to family and friends that have
campers/rv's. The wrecker service and camp ground that took care of
us were professional and polite.

We have had this road care service for 5 years and it has saved us on two separate occasions. It is nice to know that when things can go wrong, and you are very far from home, help is a phone call away. I would recommend to any RV traveler and especially beginners.
