Bought it to replace our large kettle style grill (avivd charcoal cookers). Does not hold alot of charcoal and does not heat evenly. On the other hand, very portable, easy to clean and very little room wasted to store it. Great from burgers and dogs, steaks can be tricky! Tip..... regardless of instructions. put the coal pan in very bottom of grill to add more room for heat distrubution.
