We are avid race fans and travel many of the NASCAR tracks and our decor is all about NASCAR so we thought these would be perfect but was not ready to spend that kind of money. We had bought two recliner chairs at Wal-Mart and they had been holding up for over 2 years with no signs of wear and tear but we so wanted those checkerboard ones. While at the Tampa RV Show in January of 2009 we went for it and spent over $100 each for the checkerboard recliners. We were so impressed by them, the glide, the comfortness and the deep rich colors. That wonderful feeling lasted only until about April of 2009 when we started noticing the fading of the black checkerboard and the rusting of the chair itself. They were not wearing well at all and to make matters worse, about a month after purchasing them we noticed they were continuously on sale for $80 each, a savings of over $40 for both. We have been in contact with a Manager from CW and are trying to get this situation resolved. They are willing to replace the chairs which we are not sure we want them if they are just going to fade again. And, they have refused to allow us the price difference since the sale actually was more then their 3 week policy allows.
