Get the job done

Been looking for towing mirrors that do not vibrate or fall off while moving for my 01 F150. These do the job well. Only issue was the tape that came with mirrors to help protect the paint on the mirror didn't. I replaced the tape with the fuzzy side of self stick Velcro cut to fit the plastic bar that secures the tow mirror to the factory mirror. Problem solved after two road trips no marks on the mirror paint.

Cipa Slipon Mirrors for 2008 Silverado - GREAT Product

I recently purchased a 24 ft TT. Am pulling it with a 2008 Silverado 2500 HD. The truck was
equipped with standard factory mirrors, not towing mirrors. I thought I'd be able to get by just
by doing a little tweaking on adjustment. It became obvious after the second trip that was
not going to work. I had read some reviews on this product, some bad some good. So I
decided to try them assuming I could return them if the bad reviews turned out to be right.
I bought them in May 2011 and have had zero problems. Happily the bad reviews were
WRONG, way off. I put the slipon mirrors on the truck and ajusted them in about 10 minutes
time for both sides start to finish.
They work great and I have never looked back. They were the answer to my problem. I can
now see far behind the rig in the lanes on either side and do not need to cross my fingers
when changing lanes AND they work great for backing in to my space at the KOA.
I have no vibration on the highway and very little on gravel roads.
I put them on and have not taken them off. They have stayed adjusted and focused on four
trips so far.
I highly recommend these to all.

cipa tow mirrors for 2001 yukon

I purchased these mirrors for my 2001 yukon. The looks are great. I rate them low because they are hard to attach to my current mirrors. I have used them for a trip to Florida and back to Indiana. The mirrors are to small, I do not get a good full view of my trailer without bending over to see the area of the trailer not seen when setting normally. I have found the mirrors are almost impossible to adjust. They are to stiff over adjust.
The driver side mirror fell and broke while I was trying to attach the mirror to my vehicle. I am considering buying different mirrors which will resolve the size issue. I need to be able to see the full side of the trailer.

I installed a pair onto my 2011 F150 XLT. Followed instructions and they went on without a hitch in a few minutes. I can still fold the mirrors with them installed.
They did not vibrate. Easily removable. Outside mirror allowed me to see behind my 30 ft trailer. OEM light on the
front of the mirror are covered, but the turn lights facing the rear of the vehicle are still visible. Visit manufacturer site for video.

Let me just start off by saying that when these are installed they work great. There is very little vibration (no more then my stock mirrors) and they look good too. The problem is with how they fit. They are extremely tight. I know you want a product that fits snugly but these are a bear to get on, and I am not looking forward to taking them off. I wanted something that I could easily take on and off without to much effort and these are not it. I am afraid that after a couple times they will damage the bezel around my mirror, so sadly I think I am going to have to return these for something else.
