Mirrors arrived 2 days late thanks to the weather, (Do not use 2 day business from UPS).
Looked over the instructions then had both mirrors installed in 15 minutes. Made a trip
from Texas to Florida in rainy high wind conditions and the mirrors were faultless the
entire trip. It was also a plus that the mirrors are custom fit to the model of truck you own.
I have had these mirrors for about 4.5 yrs and they are great. Much cheaper that buying replacement extendable mirrors for the truck. I recently lost the wedge in the drivers
side mirror, due to my own neglect. I ordered replacement kit 10803 and receive
replacement wedges and thumbscrews for both side for about $10.00.
I recently purchased the Cipa mirrors for my 2004 Chevy Tahoe and they work perfectly! I've owned many different mirrors, (all with the straps). I've had them fall off going down the highway, and also the vibration that some produced due to poor fit was just horrible. I can
say now for the first time that a company has really done their homework. In all areas. It fits very snug to the vehicle mirror, and it looks much better than other tow mirrors. I used them on a month long trip, ( about five thousand miles), and they didn't even loosen at all! There's little too no vibration at 80 mph. Also the most important thing is that you can see behind
your trailer completely. I highly recommend this product. Worth the more expensive price. Hope this helps!
This is my second set of Cipa mirrors. I know what you're thinking 70 bucks for a set of
mirrors is a lot of money. But in this case you get what you pay for. The mirrors are tight and built for a specific application. I feel they're a lot better than the universal mounts that might cost less but take more time to put on. Honestly I would have given them a 5 star rating but 70 bucks for a set of mirrors is a lot of money.
Been looking for towing mirrors that do not vibrate or fall off while moving for my 01 F150. These do the job well. Only issue was the tape that came with mirrors to help protect the paint on the mirror didn't. I replaced the tape with the fuzzy side of self stick Velcro cut to fit the plastic bar that secures the tow mirror to the factory mirror. Problem solved after two road trips no marks on the mirror paint.
I have a 2001 yukon and they fit just like a glove no problems it better the rubber
mounted one i bought. I can even take the mounts off and put them back now a week or two and no adjustment to make again
Cipa Slipon Mirrors for 2008 Silverado - GREAT Product

I recently purchased a 24 ft TT. Am pulling it with a 2008 Silverado 2500 HD. The truck was
equipped with standard factory mirrors, not towing mirrors. I thought I'd be able to get by just
by doing a little tweaking on adjustment. It became obvious after the second trip that was
not going to work. I had read some reviews on this product, some bad some good. So I
decided to try them assuming I could return them if the bad reviews turned out to be right.
I bought them in May 2011 and have had zero problems. Happily the bad reviews were
WRONG, way off. I put the slipon mirrors on the truck and ajusted them in about 10 minutes
time for both sides start to finish.
They work great and I have never looked back. They were the answer to my problem. I can
now see far behind the rig in the lanes on either side and do not need to cross my fingers
when changing lanes AND they work great for backing in to my space at the KOA.
I have no vibration on the highway and very little on gravel roads.
I put them on and have not taken them off. They have stayed adjusted and focused on four
trips so far.
I highly recommend these to all.
I installed a pair onto my 2011 F150 XLT. Followed instructions and they went on without a hitch in a few minutes. I can still fold the mirrors with them installed.
They did not vibrate. Easily removable. Outside mirror allowed me to see behind my 30 ft trailer. OEM light on the
front of the mirror are covered, but the turn lights facing the rear of the vehicle are still visible. Visit manufacturer site for video.
Let me just start off by saying that when these are installed they work great. There is very little vibration (no more then my stock mirrors) and they look good too. The problem is with how they fit. They are extremely tight. I know you want a product that fits snugly but these are a bear to get on, and I am not looking forward to taking them off. I wanted something that I could easily take on and off without to much effort and these are not it. I am afraid that after a couple times they will damage the bezel around my mirror, so sadly I think I am going to have to return these for something else.
These mirrors fit my 07 Sierra factory mirrors well and allow me to see down both sides of the Camper, although just barely on the side with the awning supports. No vibration at any speeds I should be towing at! they come on/off in about a minute. My only issue is keeping track of the two loose pieces of plastic that hold them in place when they are not on the truck. I put them in a ziplok bag and attach to the plastic screw
when not in use. They look good for add ons and don't mar the paint on my factory mirrors. at first it was a little disconcerting to see the two images on either side, but I quickly grew used to it. I wish they were a little larger and slightly convex to add to the
viewing area, but overall they are a MAJOR improvement over the factory mirrors. and for the cost, you can't beat them.
Have used on our Sierra truck for 2 years and they fit like a glove over the existing mirror with no vibration on the road. Take the time to follow the easy directions for the best fit. We leave them on and check screw tightness from time to time. Look decent on the truck, too.
Bought these mirrors for our Ford F150 to use for our Memorial weekend camping trip. Installed in minutes and fit perfectly. Matched the truck perfectly, almost looked factory. No complaints while I used them. Great visibility on both sides of the camper. Would recommend buying to anyone.
Put these mirrors on my '04 F150 and could see down both sides of my toy hauler. No vibration at highway speeds or any other problems associated with other brands or types of auxilliary mirrors. The probably won't make it thru a car wash but, that's not what they're designed for.
Just wish the glass was convex instead of flat. Otherwise, a sound investment in the safety of towing!
The mirrors are not really worth the money, they vibrate to the point that it is hard to see anything coming up beside of you. The advantage I have found is when it comes to backing they help a little. The extra mirror is smaller than it looks in the picture.
After using and loosing other slip on mirrors, I found these, and thought I would give them a try. I had to modify the inside mounting bar to fit my 2002 GMC, but these are the best slip on mirrors I have ever seen. I am a retired truck driver used to big mirrors, and I find the glass area to be a tad small, but they are solid, no vibration. I had a mounting screw come loose once, and it did not even try to come off the mirror.
The cipa mirrors are my third set of different towing mirrors and they
are great. I have them on a Z71 and I am pulling a thirty foot camper
and there is no vibration and they stay adjusted. They are very easy to
put on and take off. They are worth every dime I spent for them.
They do not even look like a add on when they are on the truck
If you are looking for a new set of add on mirrors buy these!

These mirrors are FANTASTIC! I purchased them for my new 2007 F-
150 before a long trip up Northern California and they worked
perfectly. They take a little time to get adjusted properly, but once they
are set up, they provide a great wide-view down the side of the trailer.
Fit and finish are impeccable! They look like they could be a factory
accessory. These mirrors are a bargain; I'm very happy with the
The mirrors work fantastic ! The slide on easily, adjust easy and the
thing I like most is the fact that they match the mirrors on my new F-
150 PERFECTLY. I'd like to thank the sales lady @ the Syracuse
location for all of her help and suggestiions. She was 100% correct ! ! !
Good for just that, small adittional mirrors are shaky and not very easy to see objects. I leave them on my C3500 full time. Prefer the power extended units or even better the large Truck style, for the money - they work and best of all no modifications to the vehicle.
Like to see an update on this style, been around for several years at the same design.
I purchased a set of mirrors 6 months ago, they are easy to install, and remove. When I went to install them for another outing, I somehow lost (misplaced) the part that goes inbetween the two mirrors. Thanks to duct tape, we were not delayed in geting out of town. I sent a e-mail to Cipa explaining my problem, and they had the part in the mail the same day. How do you like that for service?
I added this mirror to my '91 'Burb after towing my 24 1/2' Scotty approx. 20k miles with just original equipment mirrors. What a positive difference this product makes. My wife and I feel so much better because of the increased view. They are easy to attach and look like the original mirror. American ingenuity wins again.....
I purchased the set of mirrors for my 2006 GMC Denali and they fit perfectly. The instructions are not correct - you need to fit/connect the guide piece slot to the main mirror before attaching the mirror. Once assembled, hook the mirror bottom under the bottom of the mirror and pop the top edge over the top of the mirror. Total attachment time is about a minute once I figured out how to attach the guide piece. The 2005 mirrors hold great and work for the 2006 trucks as well.
I purchased a pair of these and put them on the same day . Drove 1500 miles with out any problems. Very little vibration and they feel solid. The only problem was the instructions were not very clear for my vehicle.
