We used lighted rope to mark sidewalk and driveway in winter trailer park and still mow grass. Worked good. We linked two togeather and used a dusk to dawn electrical box. Also added extra security.

I bought two 18-ft sections, connected them end-to-end and laid them on the edge of our RV campsite patio. It's great for seeing the edge of the concrete and also lights our entry back to the RV after dark. I will continue to replace them as necessary, although some friends have had their for 5 years and they still work just fine.
