Easier to install than expected & lots of light

We are going to love this window. We hated the pebbled glass that came on the door of our new RV. The couch faces the door and we could not see out. Now, all of that has changed. The window installation was easier than expected. I watched the video twice and the actual install took about the same amount of time. Very simple. Also, before I committed to purchasing the kit, I called twice to ask questions. Once they returned my voicemail promptly and the other time they answered my call directly. Both times my questions were answered and details explained. I was concerned that the new black glass window would allow in less light than my ugly pebbled glass. I was assured that this would not be the case. And they are correct. Plenty of light, maybe more, comes through the replacement glass. You won't regret buying this kit!! I don't!!

The original door window frame of our class C RV cracked after only 3 years and the glass became loose (we had been using aluminum reflective material to keep out the heat which warped the frame). I found this kit and it measured a perfect fit. The original sent pane had a scratch but RossRv was quick to send out a replacement. Removal of the old window and replacement with this one was very simple after viewing the video. We can now see out and not worry about too much heat getting inside. I would definitely recommend it if you need a replacement.

Excellent kit. Very easy to install. It takes longer to clean your hands than install the glass! I recommend using Goo Be Gone prior to using rubbing alcohol to clean sticky tape off frames, coach and hands. Well worth the money!

Clear View RV Entry Door Window Kit

This is a well-made kit for replacing the frosted glass in a standard RV door with darkened glass, similar to the glass found in most RV windows. Installation takes 30- 45 minutes but with a couple of precautions. The replacement sealer is double-sided foam with a protective pull-off coating on both sides and is EXTREMELY sticky. After installing the new sealer in the glass frame, I suggest leaving the pull-off coating on the glass side of the sealer in place and dry-fitting the glass into the frame. It can be a very tight fit and/or the frame may be a little bit out of square. Then leave a small gap between the glass and the sealer and use a small pair of pliers to pull off the protective coating through the gap, similar to installing a counter-top with contact cement. Once the glass touches the sealer, it is in place permanently! Recognize that the new glass is darkened, NOT one-way, and therefore at night the inside of the RV is visible from outside if an interior light is on. This problem is easily solved with a removable door window curtain. Overall, the kit is worthwhile to be able to see through the RV door window.
