I read about using two ways on RV forums, best advice ever, every one should have a set for reversing your trailer. Our first use was at night reversing and we had no issues at all. Especially handy with a fifth wheel when your turning and cant see the blind side of the trailer. We parked perfectly but more important we were still talking when finished, no yelling instructions, no not understanding This item is a must and I would recommend it to anyone.
