It takes up so little space and has the sound of a full blown CB system. We have had no problems with the Cobra Mobile CB unit.

Had problems transferring old CB to new 31' ft Class C due to limited under dash space. This unit solved the problem. It sends and receives very well with the factory installed roof mounted base load antenna. The weather channels are very handy.

Auto squelch it has not. Be prepared to listen to static. Range is OK not as good as a full unit. I use it for the occasional times when Im wondering why is traffic jammed up - it works for this. I would not recommend it for out west type use when you are relying on it for dirctions etc.. Nice toy for the beginner like me

If you don't drive with the CB on all the time and you're looking for the MINIMUM footprint in your coach this Cobra 75 is the unit for you! But if you drive with the CB on to continuously to get road information, I'd recomend a bigger unit like the Cobra 25. I have owned and used both, but the performance of a bigger radio is very noticable. Especially with the SoundTracker feature that reduces static when the squelch is set low. The SoundTracker feature seems to work better in the bigger radios, thus you can keep the squelch low to maximize range and not be driven crazy by constant loud staitic. Unfortunately, that's not my experience with this Cobra 75.

I like this radio because it is small and easy to use. It is also easy to hide or just remove so theft is less of an issue. The only draw back I can see is that the weather radio has to be repositioned for reception like a portable AM radio. I recommend an external speaker. Large high end radios probably works better, having more features but this one works well as a basic CB/Weather radio.

I had the old style CB in my coach and it just had no appeal so I figured I would try this one, and man am I glad I did, Installed it in less than 20 mins and works better than the one I had I hooked an external speaker up to it and it has better sound quility than the big radios, for the price it's worth every penny Thanks Camping World...

This was a great choice, it's easy to use and was easy to place on dash it does not take up much room. However I did find it hard to hear and added an external speaker that is made for this CB, I ordered it from the Cobra web sight & pay the extra and get the one for the sound tracker it's worth it & now I'm very happy with it.

    Cobra Hand Held CB

The function of the unit is excellent - It receives and transmits over a long range with good clarity. However, it is rather large and a handful when using it on the road. I have large hands but it is still difficult to hold and manipulate with one hand. This shortcoming is more than balanced by the ease of installation and small amount of underdash space required for mounting the CB.

    Unbeatable Class A CB

All controls are built in to the handsome headset and there is no clumsy old fashioned box hanging down below the dash of my cb ready 2008 Fleetwood Bounder 35E class A motor home. Cool looking, convenient, great receiving and sending capabilities with just about every option available in a modern cb radio. I'm sold and you will be too.

Everyone makes good points except for addressing antennas. I have this radio and can get exceptional recption. It was purchased for multiple vehicles and I notice a HUGE difference when it is attached to my full-size Dodge Ram and other vehicles to include my wife's Jeep. This is probably my fault. For those out there this may be common sense - to some new. EVERY CB radio should be compatible to the antenna. I purchased and installed a large Willy's 1000 Antenna and had it professionally tuned over and above my own tuner. What a difference! I will soon be switching out my wife's 'little Willy' for a larger tuned antenna.

Just picked this up and so far so good. I have it set up in both the RV and my plow truck so I can easily move it from one to the other. Tested it out in the truck with my small center loaded antenna and was able to clearly get reception of about 5-6 miles through extremely hilly terrain. Also picked up the through the glass antenna that I still need to install and tune. Hopefully with that installed the distance with even be farther. Expect it to work great on the road with miles and miles of reception. Features are great, easy to use and no big box hanging under the dash anymore. Would recommend to anyone. Might just pick up another for my other plow truck to replace the old 80's cb in there. So far, very impressed with the quality and functions of this unit.

I have had one of these radios for quite some time. I use it mostly in our Jeep which has little to no room for mounting a conventional box type of radio. The reception is good (for a CB) and the WX radio is nice to have. If you're expecting long transmit range or good audio quality from ANY CB you are dreaming. CB just isn't a long range communication device (unless you are using a power amplifier which is illegal) Overall this is a great little radio for talking to the person directly in front or behind you (it's a CB for crying out loud). If I intend on talking to someone over half a mile away I just turn on the Ham radio instead. I personally like the ability to just mount another of the connection boxes in any rig and just unplug the radio and put it in any rig I want.

Love this unit. Easy to install and it takes up so little valuable space in the driver's area. Easy connect to the fuse box under my dash. Easy to use and once you get used to it there is no need to even look at the handheld when turning it on or adjusting volume and squelch. I paired this with a Power-Max through glass CB antenna and they seem to work quite well together.
