I don't like messing around with coolers to keep beverages cold while on the road and in camp. I also don't like the kids running into the TT looking for something to drink every hour. Our solution is to keep this electric cooler outside, under the awning for quick, cool beverages. The manufacturer states that it cools to 40 degrees below the outside temperature. We have found that to be true. When it is 100 out, a 60 degree beverage is plenty cold to enjoy. We have not had any issues with the unit. We did purchase the three year replacement plan for it. If you have any problems, Camping World will replace it. With as much as we use it, I was willing to pay $22 for this protection. (Given other reviews I have read on other sites.) We also use it for kids sports games and long car rides to keep sandwiches and the like fresh. One detractor, it does need another shelf. I will contact the manufacturer to see if we can purchase one.

We bought one of the older Coleman models 18 years ago and it served us very well on many trips. We bought the new one because we thought the old one had quit; turns out someone had unplugged it, so it's still working fine. We like the stand up feature of the new one and the extra shelf. It fits perfectly in one of the basement compartments in our motorhome and is very useful as an overflow refrigerator. Based on our experience so far, I would not hesitate to recommend this item.

Hi, I loved this thing while it lasted. I used it for camping in our popup 3 trips, the inner fan failed on the 3rd trip. seems it is not replaceable. can't we use ball bearing fans!!! I stored it inside the house between trips so to make it last.
