Safely and easily transport your Coleman RoadTrip Grill with this Wheeled Carry Case. Sporting easy-glide wheels and a comfortable top handle, the case can be easily pulled by a single person -- or use the handy side handles for 2-person lifting. The sturdy interior straps let you securely fasten your grill and stand, while the durable zipper and strong webbed handles make for comfortable, convenient transport. The RoadTrip Wheeled Carry Case fits all propane-powered Coleman grills (does not fit new RoadTrip Pro series).
I purchased this for the blue RoadTrip grill. Like the previous reviewer, I noticed the bag was barely large enough to hold the gr...ill and the stand. I hope this means everything will stay in place and be protected. I have only taken it on one trip so far. The two handles and rollers made it convenient for one person to move about. No problems with zippers yet.
I too thought the bag was barely large enough for my Blue road trip. but after 3 years of service I find it is perfect to hold tw...o extra grills/grates in the compartments in the bottom, the table and grill. in fact, if you take time to place the items in the bag strap
them down, the zippers have no strain. this bag is a must to store or transport my blue road trip grill and accessories.
This case is the perfect solution to keeping your grill in like new condition and move it around easily - the wheels allow you to ...roll the grill to the perfect spot for setup and use - and then when you're done roll it back to storage. What a neat idea! We love it!
The bag looks like it is constructed well, but I had a hard time getting the grill to fit in it. I struggled and struggled to get ...the bag zipped up. I checked and rechecked to see if I had the grill nested correctly before putting it in the bag and yes it was. Finally after about
10 tries or so, I got it in and zipped. Haven't taken it out since then to try the grill. Not sure if mine is faulty and and maybe not exactly cut to size or what? I may have to return
it for another.
Read reviews that the legs didn't quite fit but got it anyway. Everything fits inside but can't
zip the last 3 inches at the top... although we didn't try flipping the folded stand upside
down.... Anyway, still works for our needs and tools stash in the front. Good quality and
much better than lugging the separate grill pieces all around camp.
Cant figure out why people are saying the Coleman Road Trip Grill LX (Model 9941-768,
Blue) won't fit into this bag - a) the box... it comes in specifically references both Road Trip model numbers, and b) It fits into the bag just fine. It's snug but there's no question that it was designed for the LX. The people who wrote the bad reviews are either
spacially/geometrically challenged, or they just weren't trying very hard. All of that said, this bag is a great addition to the Road Trip. Great construction, nice features like internal
pockets for additional grills and an external mesh pocket for other equipment.
While the bag accomplishes the task it has some shortcomings:
- The associate assured me the bag would accomodate the grille and ...stand. The bag however is too small. The zipper has to be stretched to its breaking point to close. Additionally, when placing the duffel into the RV compartment the prongs of the additional cooking accessories protruded through the bottom of the bag. The bottom
of the bag should be reinforced as it is designed to accomodate these accessories.
Seems like good construction. There is a trick to putting it all in. I have two pot grates and both griddle and grill. The pot gr...ates go inside the grill and the clean griddle and grill go in the bottom pockets, points up and round end inboard. They will fit flat. Points down will poke holes. Next, the table goes upside down and the sideboards will fit inside the grill and griddle preventing the points from marring the table. Then goes the grill. Turning the table over lowers the profile about 4 inches and enables the bag to be zipped up. You might have to stand the bag up to zip the top part, but it all fits easily. I put the regulator inside a cardboard box inside the grill lid and a throwaway canister fit perfectly at the very top between the grill and the base. No rattles and no scratching the cover. Be patient and it will all fit!
We keep the grill in this bag when we don't use it and while we travel in the motorhome. So
far the wheels have held up. It woul...d have been nice if the bag had some instructions so you
know how it was designed to be packed up up. Also, if there was room for the full griddle.
We ordered and received our coleman duffel bag within days . The case and zipper is made of the highest quality and fits our colem...an road trip LXE grill with ease once we removed the push button handle. Great job highly recommend. 5 star plus.
If you read the other reviews - you saw the handle removal issue. I had to remove my
handle as well, but it takes about 5 second...s to do it. The plastic pull-handle on the fold-up
coleman has a little push button to pull the handle out. The handle fits in the bag with the
grill with no problem, but you can't zip the bag up with the handle attached (at least not for
the red coleman grill I have).
The quality is excellent - a nice and heavy bag and it is rigid too, very easy to pull around
with the wheels built-in. There are also some storage pouches for miscellaneous items (not
big enough for the little green propane bottles).
Bottom Line: I would definitely buy this product again. Excellent quality, made perfectly for
the grill, fits well and makes it easy to pack and store the grill as well as moving it around.
The grill fits great. Some complained about the handle on the grill not fitting, but all you have to do is press the button on the ...handle and remove it. Then but it in the bag. The bag makes it easy to but the grill in the storeage compartment of the camper.
I don't understand why people are removing the handle on the grill, everything fits great seems like a well made bag for my Colema...n Grill. Very satisfied with the Grill and Duffel Bag. I did what the person stated put the grill and griddle in the bottom flaps then
put in stand and then grill then start to zipper when you have it zippered half way stand the bag up and finish zippering
I have a Road Trip LXE grill (red) and it fits inside this duffle bag just fine along with an extra grill and room for even more a...ccessories! When I first attempted to put the grill inside of the duffle bag it didn't fit and was about to take it back, but soon realized the handle slides out by simply pressing a small button and and sliding off the handle!! I didn't have any issues getting the grill, handle and extra griddle into the duffle bag after that! I love it!!!!
IT DOES actually fit if you pack it THIS WAY, READ THIS

You must pack the shelfs first in the lower pouches, then lay the base in upside down and press down, then lay the the top section... into the bag and start the zipping half way, then stand the bag up on the wheels to let everything settle, then the zippers close with
no problem and the bag will stretch over time. People writing negative reviews are
simply wrong and did not have enough patience to figure it out before posting. Grill seems excellent and well made. It setup and broke down much easier than I thought. These incorrect reviews worried me but now I realize there was nothing to fear. This was
one of the better products I ordered from them. 5 year warranty too.
Granted I camp in rough country, but I only have to move the duffel bag 20ft from trailer to front for set up. The wheel broke off... after 3 camping trips. I've had no issues with packing the blue grill in the trailer, but I am unhappy about the wheel breaking.
It holds the LX Classic as advertised, but it's only a matter of time before the zippers will tear. It's so tight that the grill a...nd base have to be forced in and stretched to get the zippers closed. It is made of heavy coated canvas so I don't think the material will tear. I am concerned about the zippers though.
This item is manufactured in China.
