able use with your rv propane system

0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.
September 22, 2014
I purchased this grill and have used it often. I am tired of buying propane bottles for it. My RV has a connection to the propane system and tried to use hook-up to the system. The road trip grill would light one burner, because of two regulators. I contacted Coleman they would not help. I wanted to remove the regulator on the grill and they said it can't be done, there is no adaptor available. I would not recommended purchase to be used with your RV system.

Not a normal barbeque grill

This does an ok job of grilling. But there isn't the normal barbeque flavor, it tastes more like it was fried not grilled. Follow the instructions, preheat and turn the grill to low.

Great grill but

We've had this grill for a little while (got it for Christmas) and I love it EXCEPT that even on the low setting the flame is not as low as I think it should (or could) be. If anyone has any ideas about how to adjust this I'm willing to try it. Love that you can get extra griddle tops, grill tops, or any combination.

Too Much Plastic...Too Big

The LXE works great and has all the right attachments. We grill staks and vegetables with the same great results. The instructions say not to close the lids while fire is lit. I should have read first. I am used to cleaning a grill by closing the lid for a few minutes. No handle now. Also, it is just a little too large for the compartments on my DP. No pass-through.

Good Grill but.....

We purchased one at the GNARVR in Redmond, Oregon last month. It works great but is a little big to fit in any storage bay on our DP. It cooks great and we enjoy it but I kind of wish we had compared closer with the Thermos Grill 2 Go. It may have fit better in the bay. I have to close the hatch on the wheel and eventually that will cause damage to the wheel (probably) or the hatch.
