Comfortable, but prone to falling apart

I bought 2 of these chairs. They are very comfortable. Not the easiest to pack with their curved arms, but really nice to sit in. If that was the only thing about them, I'd buy them again in the drop of a hat, BUT the design of the chair makes it prone to falling apart. The 3 legs/braces are held by single shanked bolts with lock washers near the front feet. After sitting in the chair a couple of times, you will notice the bolt bending. In time, with sitting in it, and folding the chair, the bolt will reach the point of failure and the end with the lock washer will snap off. As long as you are under warranty, CW will replace the chair. But, after warranty, then you'll be hard pressed to find a shanked bolt to replace this one with. A great and comfortable chair with a regrettably fatal flaw that renders a premium product that should be durable as denoted by the Coleman name, to be little more than a chair, good for a couple summers.

Agree with below review. Front lower screws broke on 2nd use. Great chair aside from that. Will keep chair and replace with a real bolt.

One of the most comfortable chairs my wife and I ever tried. Rated for 300lbs, I'm 190 and both our chairs broke on our first outing with them. The bolts holding the front legs broke in half. They are way to small and weak.I considered returning them, but didn't like the others there. So I drilled out the holes to 1/4 and used grade 8 bolts. See how it holds up next outing. Otherwise they would've gotten a 5 rating.

Well Made and Comfortable Chair

I just purchased two of these chairs for use with my motorhome. Another reviewer mentioned them as being too large - they are slightly larger (and longer when folded) than the typical bag chair, but that makes for a very comfortable and sturdy seat. The bungee attachments to the frame causes the chair to almost mold to your body and make different positions very comfy. A bonus is that they go in and come out of the bags much easier than my old bag chair. Great chairs!

Very comfortable chair and it does not hold heat like the solid material, I only wish it was a bit smaller. Looking to purchase two more.

We went to the nearest Camping World primarily to try out (sit in) all the chairs they had available. My wife found one she liked ok, but I couldn't find one that felt right. The sales guy saw us and brought this one over from the front (we missed seeing it). We both instantly realized this was the chair and bought two. They are a bit heavier than some of the lighter chairs, but far more comfortable. We figured we not going to be hauling them around on our backs any long distances.
