Description

This lightweight, versatile roll-top table offers two tabletop sizes: 28 1/2"L x 27 1/2"W or 48"L x 27 1/2"W.
The roll-top style table tops are constructed of heat-dissipating aluminum. The 28" x 27" top can be used with the un-telescoped frame to seat four people. Simply telescope the frame and add the additional table top piece for a 48" x 27" table top, which seats six people. The Compact Expandable Table features the double-duty Close-It Hold-It Strap System which tethers any handled trash bag to the side of the table while set up.

When the table is folded, the Close-It Hold-It Strap System secures the table top dividers together for quick and easy packing. A telescoping table leg adjusts to uneven ground. Weighing only 12 lbs., the Compact Expandable Table supports 60 lbs. Includes a zippered carry bag with handle for transport and storage.

For light use only - too flimsy otherwise

I used this table about ten times and on my last camping trip one of the aluminum legs buckled irreparably near the scissors joint. I had about 50 pounds of stuff on the table, which doesn't seem unreasonable to me. I had to throw the whole thing out, but to be honest, I wasn't too upset (other than the financial aspect). I've been frustrated with this table since I bought it. The aluminum-slat tops don't like to stay secured. I had to wrap velcro to the top around the legs to keep the top from coming off. The top will also slide laterally (even after being secured on) which makes it unstable. The table is flimsy in general and the instability increases greatly when it's expanded to full length. It's also too short for food preparation and nearly too short for sitting at, even when legs are fully extended. Only ONE leg is custom-adjustable; all others have only two heights, short and long, with a pin-locking mechanism keeping them in place. On the fourth leg, a cheap screw holds the leg in place via friction, but it doesn't always work. You can also pull the leg all the way out if you're not careful. Lastly, this thing is really difficult to pack correctly. You have to fold the slats just so or they won't secure properly or fit back in the bag the right way. That led to many, many frustrating times during camp breakdown. The pro to this table is that it collapses down to a carry size that's nice and compact, but if you're using it for much more than eating on, I wouldn't bother; it's not a quality product. Invest in a folding table instead.
    Pros: Compact
Cons: Flimsy , Top comes off too easy

Great table. Love how it folds up to store easily. It was not to hard getting it folded up, like others have said. It is pretty sturdy and I like the adjustable height feature.

Having just purchased the table, I took it on a camping trip for the first time. My concerns were how difficult it would be to assemble. I had read other reviews before buying it and assembly seemed to be the main issue. I must say, it wasn't difficult at all. One practice session before a trip was all one needs. The table is sturdy yet light weight, adjusts to several heights, and is very handy for both indoor and outdoor needs. For my outdoor barbecue needs it was great; It had plenty of surface area for my barbie and food. This table was an excellent add on to my RV needs.

Love the expand option for a 2 in 1 table. As mentioned in some reviews, quick easy set up, but folding the top up for packing is going to take some practice to get it done quickly. 1st time took about 5 minutes to get the right configuration.

    Fine find for folding table

It is sturdy and will support a lot of food and drink. A bit heavy due to better materials and construction. Setup is a minor challenge that should be practiced before you need to use it outdoors. It is square and becomes rectangular with the extra section, a great feature.

We had been looking for a small aluminum table for a while. We love the adjustable legs and is light weight. Folds up nicely into a storage bag and is easy to set up and put away. Perfect extra table for camping.

    On the flimsy side

This table is a little bit too flimsy for my taste, and the top comes off too easily (especially when expanded). The little nubs keeping the tabletop(s) on need to be better designed. I wish the table were taller; it's more like a side table than a preparation/dining table. And finally it's a real pain to figure out the right way to fold the tabletops for storage. What I do like about it is that it's compact and lightweight, and it sets up fast. I use it primarily for a food serving table and it works OK for that, as long as nothing's too heavy. All in all I would have preferred a sturdier table, but if you're willing to trade sturdiness for compact storage then this table is definitely the choice for you.

This is just what we needed for a small camping table that would fold up easily for storage. We just don't have room for anything much larger. The metal top is just right for a small grill and you have the choice of using just one section or opening up the frame and using both sections for a fairly large table. It could be a little bit sturdier, but I won't quibble too much about this.

This is a great table. I used it the first time without the extension and it was very easy to put up. Like the way it fits in the carrying case. I will be using it again next week and will use the bigger version. Thanks.

Outstanding product! Could use directions on how to fold the table to store in sleeve most efficiently. Would like to know if you can purchase the elastic fastiners if and when they where out.

Have not had a chance to use it but it looks to be exactly what we wanted to go into the 5th wheel. The size & carry bag is super and compact so that is nice---we did put it together and did have a heck of a time figuring out how to get the top refolded -even with directions but finally got it so pay attention when you take it apart--haha

    Bag it!

I looked around a while for a table that would be easier to pack in the coach. This is what I purchased. The two top sections roll up and pack in the bag along with the legs that fold up. Once use to it, about the same time to set up as my fold-in-half camping table. The real advantage for me is packing it in the basement and its compact size. It seems sturdy enough when set up and time will tell just how well it works out after more use. It certainly looks better than my old fold-up camping table. One (1) of the four legs is adjustable to get it level if necessary. Loosen a knob and extend or retract the leg and then tighten. All- in-all, I'm happy with it. It may not seem as sturdy as a regular bi-fold camp table but it's deceiving in that the material is much stronger on this one. For my requirements it gets five stars.

Love this table - we use it for trade shows as it is lightweight, easy to put together, fairly sturdy, and expandable if needed. It is easy to carry, easy to pack in a duffle for flying, easy to assemble. I love this table, and ordered 3 more! What a great value.

This is a very light duty table that may be helpful in camping. It's light, folds up into a small package and is easy to store. A good alternative to a poly table if you have limited storage.

Easy table to set up. We have the other aluminum table which is much more difficult to put together. This one is very easy to use and added some 'counter' space for our recent family reunion. Not a heavy table which is nice since we carry it in the fifth wheel.

We love the Compact Expandable Table! It is easy to set up and being able to expand it to the larger size is great. We were considering painting and trying to clean up our previous collabsible table, and we are SO glad we found and ordered this one. It received many compliments the very first time we used it!

Nice Table but a little flimsy

    May 23, 2012
Depending upon your intent for this table, it is quite a nice table. Very light weight and excellent as an extra surface outside your RV or campsite. The specs say it supports 60 lbs, but I don't think I would put that much weight on it and trust it to hold up. It seems quite flimsy. I intended to use it for my portable BBQ and while it does so, I don't think I could rely on it stay stable while cleaning the grill. The surface is somewhat slippery as well. If you are looking for a portable folding table that is lightweight and foldable, this would be an excellent solution however.

A great compact table, very sturdy when set up & folds down very compact for storage. A nice feature is that you have two sizes to choose from when setting it up. Much sturdier than other folding tables that we have seen in the past.

This is perfect for not only helping with backyard BBQ's but also is so compact for taking along on camp trips - takes up very little room - very important with a small trailer and van. It's very sturdy - sure we'll get lots of use from it!

I bought this table thinking that it would allow us to eat at our couch in our RV since it had the adjustable leg. However it only had one adjustable leg on one side where I needed two. It is compact and fits in its bag nicely. I also thought it would be taller.
